Rezydencja was created from the fascination of its owners with French culture, architecture and style. Beata and Arkadiusz Zdebel, native Silesians and proud bakers, dreamed to smuggle a bit of this atmosphere by creating in the heart of Silesia a French mansion with a picturesque garden. And so it happened, and over time Rezydencja has become one of the most luxurious and impressive facilities in this part of Poland.
The English-style garden, which is a resting place for our guests, is not the work of architects. It was designed by Mr. Arkadiusz Zdebel himself. It is the apple of his eye. New plants appear in it every year, and we also have our herbarium. Thanks to the L-shaped architectural shape of the hotel building, the garden is deafen from the street sounds.
The owners' favorite birds live in the garden - peacocks, you will also find ponds with fish and a natural lake.
Strolling around our hotel, eating breakfast in the restaurant, or choosing one of our apartments - you will find everywhere there, liked by the owners, famous reproductions of works by Tamara Łempicka, the art deco painter. Also the character of the interior significantly refers to the style of this golden era. The decor of the rooms is also thanks to the creative owners, and their cleanliness is personally guarded by Mr. Arek. During each party, no matter how numerous, they keep an eye on quality, the highest standard, atmosphere and guests’ well-being. They also introduced a substitute of their family tradition and passion to Rezydencja: they have always been breeding peacocks, which is why these royal birds can also be found here. It is no wonder then that these beautiful, dignified and proud creatures have become a symbol of the Residence.
From the beginning of our activity, we have appreciated every praise and good word from our guests. Particular we take pride in prizes and awards, among which were: Best Hotel Awards 2013, 2014 and 2015, Hotel of the Year HRS 2015 and the title of Hotel of the Year HRS 2015. Our restaurant was also among the honored in the plebiscite "3 Forks Grand Award 2015 ", and our Chef received the title of the best Chef in Southern Poland 2015". Our Rezydencja also regularly appears from 2017, in Magda Gessler's guide "151 best restaurants and hotels in Poland" gaining the highest score, 3 wild strawberries. Thank you!
The first wedding opening this place was unique not only because of the debut of the Rezydencja's pride, that is the Ballroom. First of all, because it had a family character. It was here, on September 17th, 2011, where the wedding of the owners' son, Dacjusz, took place. The completion of the entire hotel facility came a bit later - the hotel was ready to receive the first guests in June 2012.

A family approach to running a business and dedication to the local community is evident for the Owners at every turn. They develop their business in the voivodship, cooperate with numerous cultural institutions in Silesia, such as the Silesian Opera, TV Silesia or TVP Katowice. Despite the possibilities, they rarely leave - as they say, they feel the best here. And most importantly: they love the Silesian tradition of hospitality and thus want everyone to feel in Rezydencja as in their second home.
The surrounding of the Rezydencja Hotel also has a historical dimension. In the immediate vicinity of the Rezydencja Garden, there is a replica of the border post, which in the years 1922–1939 marked the border between German Rozbarek and Polish Szarlej (the current district of Piekary Śląskie - at the time of delimiting a separate commune that was a part of the Świętochłowice district). The building located near the post, at that time was the residence of the Polish border and customs guard. An information board was placed next to the replica of the boarder post - this place is a reminder of the difficult history of Upper Silesia, as well as the fact that the Polish-German state border was running here, which changed its course only after the end of World War II in 1945.
